Colleagues know him as “Dr. SWOT,” the creator of the SWOT Leadership System — a discipline for finding a company’s real strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in real time, and acting on them.

His record reads like a tour of American enterprise. He produced and directed more than 100 major industry conventions, earning a President’s Award of Excellence. He co-founded LKQ Corporation alongside Wayne Huizenga, shaping the acquisition strategy behind a company that now spans 1,700+ locations worldwide. As an executive coach he grew one firm from 151 to 433 employees and from $11 million to $125 million in revenue, and helped a real-estate client scale from $13 million to $1.1 billion in annual sales. His own developments — over $150 million across Louisiana — range from a million-square-foot redevelopment to a 44-acre interstate power center.

Through all of it, his method never changed: listen first, diagnose clearly, and prescribe targeted solutions. Cut the waste, strengthen accountability, protect cash flow, and move an organization out of reactive survival and into long-term execution. He has applied it for startups, family-owned businesses, and governments alike — from advising on transportation infrastructure abroad to helping raise over $1.1 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at home.
